The law of attraction, positive thinking, affirmations, motivational quotes – all very beautiful and uplifting. But alone they will not change your life.
When you walk into any bookstore, you will be greeted by endless books and magazines that promise you a happier and healthier life.
I have some of those books. They work, don’t get me wrong. However, they only work if you know how to make full use of their hidden power. And sadly, I don’t think most people do.
There is an important component that must be fused with positive thinking that people tend to overlook or not realize. If you familiarize yourself with this essential ingredient, you will no doubt begin to see your life change for the better.
Today I want to share that magical fairy dust with you.

Back to the basics of the Law of Attraction
When I say “back to the basics” I mean really going back: atoms, neutrons, electrons, and subatomic particles.
Quantum physics has now shown that everything is made of energy. Yes, everything. I don’t just mean the chair you’re sitting on or the tree outside. I’m talking about the thoughts you think – they are also energy. The emotions you feel – also made of energy.
Using emotion to unlock quantum mechanics:Emotion is energy in motion.
Dr. David Hawkins has developed a map of human consciousness, also known as the consciousness ladder. Each level of consciousness is represented as emotion.
Each emotion has a vibrational frequency. Our emotions come and go; however, our states of consciousness remain fairly constant throughout life. For example, you may not experience angry feelings every day, but your inner world may hold anger subconsciously. Therefore, your general state of consciousness will be anger and will coincide with a vibratory frequency of such.
Other scientists like Planck, Bohr, and Heisenberg have studied how the subatomic world works. It was the birth of quantum physics, the study of matter and energy at the nanoscopic level.
They found that quanta (the smallest form of energy) form the atoms that make up the molecules that in turn make up objects. Everything you see is made up of these quantum particles.
The law of attraction states that when we change our electromagnetic signature (the unique and identifiable energy we emit) to match what already exists in the quantum field, this will manifest. The quantum field responds to who we are, not just what we want or just our thoughts. Our thoughts send an electrical signal to the field. The emotions we generate magnetically recall events to us.
So what does all of this mean? If the underlying energy (or emotion) of positive thinking does not coincide with the thoughts you are projecting, it means that positive thinking will not have the expected or desired effect.
The way we think and how we feel generates a state of being that creates an electromagnetic signature and ultimately affects everything in our world. If our intentions and desires haven’t produced consistent results, we’ve probably sent an inconsistent and conflicting message. We think one way and feel another. And when the mind goes against the body (or vice versa), the field will not respond consistently.

You can have the thought of being grateful, but your feelings are far from gratitude.
An example is that you beg and pray for a salary increase, as you urgently need it for bills and expenses. However, at a subconscious level you believe money is the root of all evil. Your thoughts and feelings (state of consciousness) are not compatible and therefore you are unlikely to receive the salary you desire.
Like attracts Like
Quantum physics has showed us that with the Law of Attraction, energy attracts energy in the same way. That is, energies vibrating at a certain frequency will attract to them other forms of energy vibrating at the same frequency.
This may explain why sometimes similar people tend to gravitate towards one another. Each person in the group embodies a certain state of consciousness that attracts other people with similar levels of consciousness – energy attracts the same energy. This is the law of attraction in action.
Not only are we attracting people with similar vibrational frequencies / states of consciousness, we are also attracting things, situations, environments, and more.
Let’s say you are writing a positive affirmation and you write it 20 times. No matter how much you believe this affirmation is true on a conscious level, if your subconscious is full of beliefs like “I don’t deserve to have a lot of money” or “people like us can’t be rich”, then this affirmation it is actually a waste of time.
So instead of attracting financial abundance, you’ll need to be in scenarios that reflect your subconscious belief. The law of attraction reflects whats going on inside of you, regardless of the outward picture you are trying to fix.
Your subconscious mind is much more powerful than your conscious mind. 95% of our subconscious is dominant in our awake moments. Therefore, no matter what state of consciousness we are in, we will attract it too.

Reprogramming Your Subconscious Mind
The good news is we will definitely not be trapped by our subconscious forever. We can learn to reprogram the state of consciousness that our conscious brain desires so much.
Our subconscious mind has been shaped and built by our mothers, fathers, siblings, teachers and many of our idols since our early years. However, your mind doesn’t have to reflect the beliefs of others. You can learn to create your own.
Start by focusing on what you’re grateful for. You want to be clear why. Why? Spend some time with the reasons, don’t graze them. And if you’re having trouble figuring out why you’re grateful for something, start with something small like sunshine. Use your imagination and let it flow. Be thankful of the warmth that it brings. Be thankful of the positive feeling you feel when the sun is out. Don’t forget to feel the emotions. The law of attraction will attract to you the current vibration.
The next step is to be grateful for things that are not yet in your life. Imagine what you want or desire is already in your life. Let this flow through your entire body and deeply feel what it is like in your world. Imagination is key with the law of attraction.
Energy doesn’t distinguish whether something is true or imagined, it just reads what is present. And if you reflect the energy that you are grateful for finding a partner (even if you don’t have a partner right now), situations and scenarios will manifest themselves to reflect that this state of being is true.

Awareness is the key to all of this.
Start noticing when your subconscious beliefs about certain areas of your life arise: money, relationships, career, health, etc. Being jealous of people who drive nice cars but wondering why you can’t make more money and drive such? Believe all men or women are bad, but wonder why you can’t find a healthy relationship? Do you secretly hate people in senior management positions, but wonder why you might not be able to get promoted at work?
The answers to your thoughts and judgments will paint a clear picture of what your subconscious mind is harboring and why the law of attraction is bringing to you certain situations and experiences.
When you capture yourself in these moments, guided by your subconscious beliefs, you create a window of powerful choices.
You can choose your old self or the newly built one that will serve you well.
