Did you realize that the Bible has 365 passages on fear? EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR, a verse! Nothing takes God by surprise.
He was well aware that we would have something to fear every day of our lives. As a result, Jesus provided us with a Scripture for each day to help us overcome our anxieties.
Have you ever considered what motivates you to choose a certain course of action? Rarely, if ever, are choices made in a vacuum. There is always something that motivates you or me to act in a certain manner.
Go through this brief summary of the motivations and emotions that influence many of the decisions individuals make. Some are noble, while others are less so.
Fear motivated one of three slaves who were given money to manage, save, and invest for their master to bury the money rather than invest it (Matthew 25:25).
Pilate was so delighted with his popularity that he abandoned his attempt to rescue Jesus and handed Him up to the bloodthirsty mob (John 19:12).
Peter chose to deny Jesus three times out of fear of persecution (Matthew 26:69-74).
Approval prompted Herod the king to assassinate the apostle James, and when he saw how happy the Jews were, he attempted to assassinate Peter as well ( Acts 12:1-4).
Daniel’s decision to refuse the king’s meal rather than violate God’s laws was motivated by obedience (Daniel 1:8).
Now is the moment to alter or fine-tune your approach to decision-making going forward. Being concerned with making the greatest and most informed choices is a positive thing.
If you can master a few preparatory steps prior to rushing into anything or making hasty, emotional, or rash decisions, you may feel less anxious and more sure that you’re making the correct choices.

What are the implications of each option? What does the Bible have to say about these subjects? Are there any other options?
Bear in mind God’s Word.
Your standard is the Bible. If any choice conflicts with or contradicts God’s Word, it is a poor option.
Conceal Your Emotions
When emotions are present, we have a tendency to make hasty, impulsive choices. By praying and seeking Godly advice, you may regain control of your emotions. Then, with a clear mind, approach your choice.
Reconsider Your Motives
Motives are often misleading. Our brains are capable of justifying anything. We must pray and ask God to disclose the state of our own hearts, as well as confront ourselves with difficult issues in order to ascertain our real motivations.
