As you sit in your chair at work or move around all day continuously, feel like you are already at your perfect weight.
When you talk to people, imagine that they are looking at this slimmer face that is more defined. Moisten your cheeks a little when working on the computer feeling how your newly defined face feels personally. Feel sexy while driving. When you’re in bed at night, imagine lying down with your abs flat and perfectly muscular legs. Move like you already have those desired body parts. Move them slowly, sensually, as you change positions to get comfortable. It really “feels” absolutely perfect inside and out!
2. Practice Visualization
Practice daily visualizations. Shakti Gawain, author of the bestselling “Creative Visualization” says, “Creative visualization is the technique of using your imagination to create what you want in your life.” Search the Internet for “visualization.” You will find resources that can help you learn to practice it. Visualization only takes a few minutes a day.
Visualize yourself living your daily life with your ideal weight.
- How will it bring you joy?
- How would you feel about yourself?
- What kinds of activities could you do that you couldn’t otherwise?
- Could you finally wear a bikini to the beach with complete confidence?
Put yourself directly in the situation and make it as real as possible. The more vivid and emotional the experience, the more your subconscious will believe and accept it as reality.
3. Use affirmations Everyday
Little by little, get used to repeating positive affirmations at least twice a day, preferably in the morning after waking up, either in bed or in front of the mirror. Do it the same way every night before going to sleep. You can repeat positive affirmations whenever you have a moment: at the bus stop, in the subway, in the bathtub.

The best affirmations for my weight loss journey were:

- I am grateful for the body I own and all it does for me.
- Losing weight comes naturally to me.
- I am eating foods that contribute to my health and wellbeing.
Using these affirmations made me feel good in my current state. I felt thinner but accepted myself. I visualized and saw myself as slim in the space. That’s why I believe I lost 15 pounds within two months. I especially wanted to get rid of belly fat and I did. I made minimal dietary changes. I felt like cutting out junk food. That’s the beauty of using your thoughts the right way. You can teach yourself to feel a certain way through consistent self-talk.
One thing about the affirmations above is they feel quite light. It didn’t feel like I was trying to force anything. I felt good all the time.
